Just trying to solve a mystery!
It’s my birthday in a few days and I got a lovely box of hotel chocolat chocolates (the H box) with no note saying who from through the post, from amazon.. naturally I assumed someone had surprised me with a lovely thoughtful gift since we’re in lockdown, but I’ve asked a few people who I thought it might be and it’s none of them.. so I wondered if amazon send out chocolates by way of an apology?! I recently returned a faulty laptop and they took a month to give a £800 refund and the customer service chat was appalling - they kept saying they'd escalated it but then no refund.. so wondering if it was them trying to make amends 😆
On the dispatch note it does say ‘we hope you enjoy your gift, we hope to see you again at <a class="break-all" href="//amazon.co.uk?tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21%E2%80%99?tag=mumsnetforu03-21" rel="nofollow noindex" target="_blank">https://amazon.co.uk?tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21’ . Is this something they do?!
Hate that I don’t know who it’s from and can’t thank them!
