It’s just bitter or overly sweet...

Rottencooking Thu 21-Mar-19 02:27:59

Not a big fan but I like the taste of it and it doesn't taste bitter or too sweet to me. I like sweet stuff in general anyway.

Although obviously everyone's taste buds and preferences are different...

LeesPostersAreInFrames Thu 21-Mar-19 02:32:52

I do not compute the question.

It's chocolate. It's amazing.

NorthEndGal Thu 21-Mar-19 02:35:53

It goes with coffee
It goes with fruit
It goes with sex
What else do you need, really?

DailyMailFuckRightOff Thu 21-Mar-19 02:39:11

It gives you a magic hug.

Yes, I am fat and I eat my feelings.

steff13 Thu 21-Mar-19 02:42:38

YABU to ask that, yes.

SpoonBlender Thu 21-Mar-19 02:51:11

Giraffes Sounds like you're a mutant outlier. Baseline humans are genetically tuned to looooove chocolate. It is a perilous love, but I do like a bit of peril.

OwlBeThere Thu 21-Mar-19 02:54:03

It’s nice with nuts in it. I can’t eat loads of it though.

pinkboa Thu 21-Mar-19 02:54:32

You should try the fruit!!!

bloodywhitecat Thu 21-Mar-19 03:00:04

I don't.

(I know that makes me weird but I don't like chocolate)

Pinkarsedfly Thu 21-Mar-19 03:25:26

Cos it tastes like a fucking orgasm.

Brilliantidiot Thu 21-Mar-19 03:43:19

I honestly don't know other than it tastes good and the twirl I'm eating now will keep me going with a sugar rush until 8.30am when I finish work.
I do know I eat far too much.
Heard once that something in it releases the same chemical in the brain as is released after sex. Being single for a year this may have a bearing on my penchant for chocolate. Not sure it's scientific at all

Redrupunzle Thu 21-Mar-19 03:43:49

It hits that sweet craving instantly in the nicest possible way

lljkk Thu 21-Mar-19 05:48:01

Fat & sugar. What's not to like!

sam221 Thu 21-Mar-19 05:54:26

Are you a alien, ready to do a study on human habits? If so, then i volunteer to be a test subject! Preferences are Godiva, Maison du Chocolat or wispa. I will start by telling you, us humans like to eat our emotions!!!

FudgeBrownie2019 Thu 21-Mar-19 05:56:40

Because Double Deckers are the best thing anyone can put in their mouths ever.

cliffdiver Thu 21-Mar-19 06:31:31

I don't particularly like it - it's too sweet.

Occasionally - perhaps once a month or so, I'll crave and eat some.

BillywigSting Thu 21-Mar-19 06:36:40

I'm really fussy with which chocolate I like, but really good chocolate is (quite literally, if you're aztec) the food of the gods.

Only a bit of it though. It does tend to be a bit rich.

Coffee is better though.

Bagpuss5 Thu 21-Mar-19 06:39:26

It's sweet but not too sweet (good quality stuff that is), it has a melt point at the temp of the human body which is when the flavour spreads in your mouth.
But it has something which can aggravate acid reflux so be warned if you eat it in the evening.

Mummadeeze Thu 21-Mar-19 06:45:07

I am not sure that I do that much actually. But I sometimes eat it because it is meant to be a treat. The less I eat it, the more disappointing it is when I try it again. I think it is a psychological mindset to some extent and media hype!

Mmmhmmokdear Thu 21-Mar-19 06:52:45

I have a really sweet tooth and i like the taste & mouth feel (of decent chocolate!)

MeteorGarden92 Thu 21-Mar-19 06:54:41

Because I’m addicted to sugar, and it’s AMAZING

hammeringinmyhead Thu 21-Mar-19 07:05:59

I'm not a fan really. I love the odd bit of more expensive stuff from Hotel Chocolat, but I would never buy a random bar of Cadbury's or Galaxy. Crisps and cheese every time!

countrygirl99 Thu 21-Mar-19 07:16:12

Good quality chocolate is lovely. Poor quality chocolate is oily and over sweet.

Raspberry88 Thu 21-Mar-19 07:17:29

Hmmm...I'm not sure. I always think I want chocolate but actually find it quite disappointing when I actually eat it. Chips on the other hand...
