I saw 777 WNK the other day.

It made my Dad and me giggle. But we have an extremely puerile sense of humour Grin

There was someone on the school run who used to have VBAC as their personal reg no.

I could never look at it without thinking 'vaginal birth after caesarian' Grin

I saw a car with the registration PN15 UKT.
It was a friend who pointed it out to me.
There is also a 4 *4 with blacked out windows driven by a woman that I see regularly. Her registration is N0 N1X. She seems quite wealthy but I am not sure how she earns it.

Afternoon all,

We know this is only a bit of fun, but we've had a few reports come in saying that it's not really okay to post a pic like this - it can be a bit of a security risk for whoever owns this car.

OP, we're afraid we're going to have to take the thread down. Without the pic, there's not much point! Sorry.

HUh?? Confused security risk from a number plate on a public road?

Report
MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 24/10/2017 16:09

How is it a security risk? We have no idea where the car is or who owns it.

What security risk could it be exactly? There is nothing identifying where the car is and the car is legally obliged to drive around all day everyday with the number plate showing.

What a load of nonsense! As soon as I saw this thread I knew some numpty would report it with worries about data protection or some other wholly misused concept.

That's the thing, though. All this info can be looked up online by unscrupulous types, both legally and illegally. Even Google Street View blurs licence plates these days, which is why we have to step in here. It's only okay to post a pic like this if you have the owner's consent, which we're assuming the OP doesn't have.

Sorry folks, we're not trying to spoil the fun.
