Well, it won't kill you.

Will someone be upset if you refuse? Or are they short of cash, and doing the best they can?

It might be lovely Grin

I like curry with pasta occasionally! But then I like curry with anything and everything...

Just ask for the curry without the pasta and dunk some crusty bread in it

Curry with rice isn't that much different than curry with pasta, but I would give it a try before you decide whether to eat it or not.

Is it a mild creamy one?

My parents often used to cook one with tagliatelle, I think there was some dish that was popular in the 70's.

I'd eat it to be polite, but I'm pulling a face at the thought.
What shape pasta?

Well it depends on if you like pasta surely. I've had curry with pasta...and in reverse I've had bolognaise with rice. Both seem a little odd but just as tasty.

It was only a korma... I tried it and it was horrid!

Thinking about it, I've seen the same dish in a couple of French restaurants.

There are several authentic Indian dishes that are basically dals or curries with pasta - Dal dhokli, sev tameta, muthia (more of a dumpling) etc.

That's fusion cookery (wanky hipster restaurateur types would probably charge £15 a portion)

Penne? Ooh no. I was hoping it would be noodley. Bows at a push.

My DH has 'form' in this area: leftover Chinese takeaway lovingly blended with leftover pasta and bolognaise sauce. Yes, it was as grim as it sounds! He can cook, but sometimes overdoes the 'waste not, want not' thing. 😂

My mum used to serve curry surrounded by a ring of instant mash. She definitely wasn't a hipster though.
