Possibly being a tiny bit U but...

DS (3) made biscuits at nursery today . He had two to bring home. As I was strapping him and baby DS in the car DD took it upon herself to eat the bloody biscuits!

I hadn't even seen them!
I wanted OH to see them too as it's the first time DS has done this kind of thing.

DS is sad that mummy and daddy didn't get to see the biscuits.

I'm quite annoyed ! Greedy git!

Yes age of DD is important to know!

Depends how old your DD how I would react, but you sound awfully precious about some biscuits really.

Bless. It's biscuits. Not ideal but I wouldn't make s fuss. Why not get them both baking at the weekend and make some more.

If she's 3, fair enough. If she's 13 that deserves a telling off.

She'll have to bake him some more to make up for it.

How old is your dd? Is she certainly old enough to know better? Bit diffrence between a 2 year old eating them and a 9year old.

If your dd is an older child, then yes it was greedy to eat them both and rude to do so without asking

A soggy nursery biscuit? Yum Confused.

Are you going to tell us that DD is about 6 months old?

How old Is your dd? A world of diffrence between a 2 year old and 8 year old having eaten them.

If she's 16 - send her down to the shop for the ingredients to make some more with him Hmm.

You do know that all ds did was wash his hands and stir the mixture - and if the nursery is really adventurous, he might even have chucked in some flour.

And, quite honestly, I'd never touch a biscuit made by a nursery child. I've seen too many children sneezing over the mixing bowl, or picking their nose and then putting their fingers in the mixture.

Sorry - that shouldn't have been a Hmm face! I was joking not being snippy!

Sorry - she's 12 nearly 13!

Bollocking for that. Even if he said she could, she shouldn't have.

Tell her she has to make some more with ds!!

Report
SaucyJack · 23/03/2017 17:35

Pretty nasty behaviour on her part then.

SparkleTwinkleGoldGlitter · 23/03/2017 17:35

In that case don't get wrong I wouldn't make a huge fuss but I would ave words with her about how it was greedy to eat both and ask why she didn't think to ask

When your first grandchild makes mummy some biscuits at nursery, eat them all.

Report
Babyiwantabump · 23/03/2017 17:36

I'm not so bothered that I didn't get to eat them it's just DS was proud and wanted to show them to me and OH but didn't get to as DD had shoved them both in her face eaten them both before I'd even finished buckling the boys in the car!

That's the sort of thing my DS1 does to DS2. Gives me the rage every time!
Definitely make her bake again with him and read a riot act about being less selfish.
Although i don't eat nursery biscuits either.

Hhmmm does she feel left out do you think or is she being a pest!?

You should have rules in place - make them now Confused

Tell her what goes into biscuits made at nursery. That'll teach her Grin

Honestly OP, the dough is usually grey and fuzzy before it goes in the oven...
