AIBU to be annoyed at woman letting her dog piss on my property?

I'm on a rare day at home as youngest ds is off sick. Pottering about doing some housework and as I looked out a local woman dog walking was letting her dog pee over the bit of grass to the side of my drive. It is on my property. I have a dog and certainly wouldn't let her go inside a person's property to piss or shit. She tried to pull the dog away but only after she saw me looking out. I know you can't stop an animal toileting but I think that's bloody rude. Also wondering if she regularly lets her dog do this as I'm normally at work all day!! AIBU?

It's quite hard to stop a dog doing a wee mid flow - my dog does this sometimes and short of dragging him off mid wee, which is what she sounded like she was doing, by that point it's too late anyway! At least it wasn't a poo. What's the worse than can happen with a bit of wee on the edge of your front garden anyway?

Wouldn't bother me to be honest. If the dog had done a shit and the owner had then left it there then ywnbu but I think you're being a bit over sensitive, what exactly can be done about it now?

I'm a dog walker and wouldn't let my dog walk on someone's property because she might wee. Is it obvious that it's part of your property?

There's houses near me where there's the pavement and then grass in between the fences of the front gardens. I'm never quite sure if it's public verge or not but I do let dog wee there as I figure it's the right side of the fence.

OK, it would have been better if she had moved the dog on and encouraged it to piss on a lamp post or something, as I try to do with mine, but I still couldn't be too bothered by it. Urine is normally sterile.

What a ridiculous post. Dogs wee to mark their territory as well as relieving themselves, if I had to pull my dog away from every "property" in the midst of a walk it would be a very stressful affair for both of us.

Honestly, who cares? Roving cats, vermin, birds - they all piss on your lawn. Does it only bother you if you witness it?

I don't think she was deliberately taking her dog for a stroll across OP's lawn.

They're animals. They sometimes veer off the footpath before you have a chance to correct them back. As long as they're not trampling through garden beds, nobody normal cares.
