I stubbed my foot on a really heavy wooden bench. I'm pretty sturdy, I was moving at speed and gave it a good hard smack. The pain felled me.
And do you know what can be done for broken and stubbed toes?
Fuck all.

It is easily the most painful and shocking thing ever. Fact.

Oh yes! I badly bruised my toe by stubbing it then five weeks later stubbed same toe again and broke it. That was about ten weeks ago and it still hurts (tho can walk normally at last, not braved heels yet). You have my sympathy :)

I've never stubbed my toe really hard, but I have had something very heavy fall on my toe and the pain rendered me unable to make a sound. Excruciating. The nail came off my big toe afterwards.

Wisiplass I have indeed given birth, three times, including twice in the same day! But they were all sunroof jobs so maybe I got off lightly?!
And gallstones don't hurt like a surprise toe stub! One of my toes is deep purple.

Yep it really hurts! But for some reason people want to giggle when other people stub their toe, I don't know why. It just seems such a minor injury, when actually it's so painful.

I htought so, until I developed a rather sensitive spot under the fingernail of my left ring finger. My ulnar nerve is extremely sensitive, anyhow, for various reasons (my elbow is quite inflamed to the point I can no longer straighten it), but I only have to touch this fingernail in a certain way to experience pain so bad that I often either cry or black out. I have no idea how it's come about, but shit, it hurts!
