One of your hobbies, the one you are going to spend so much time on, doesn't bring your either the happiness or recognition that you hoped or expected. Save yourself the angst and effort and give it up now.

Do something about the 5kg of extra weight you are carrying. It never gets easier to lose it you know.

Try, really, really, hard to avoid buying houses right at the top of the market.

Ask yourself why DH's parents stopped asking you round to their house and had pub lunches with you instead. They were not coping, simple as that.

Don't accept what the 'professionals' tell you, they know shit all.

You're binge eating and beginning to put on a bit of weight of because you are not eating enough at mealtimes. Forget the dieting and eat a good size breakfast and you won't be raiding the vending machine mid morning.

Don't give up - the chap you are secretly in love with is secretly in love with you too! Just hang on in there for a couple more years...

Very technical stuff about the financial implications of 9/11

And not to give up hope, you will have a child - real soon now.

  1. Relax and enjoy your life, stop worrying he is going to be unfaithful/leave you - he doesn't! (or at least hasn't yet!)

  1. Do not, no matter how idyllic the village seems, buy that house in that village. It will be a run-down money pit.

Do not pursue a career in PR. It is a dark art full of incredibly vile manipulative people. You will hate it.

Go travelling. Right now.

Have more tattoos. Dye your hair pink. Once you've got 2.4 kids and a mortgage you'll still want to do it but won't have the guts.

Buy expensive shoes. Just fewer of them. Ditto clothes.

Sing more. You're actually pretty good. Go to some open mics or something.

You will never get published if you keep all your best ideas in your head. (Still need to learn that lesson...)

Start writing poetry again. You'll love it.

Get your arse to the gym and enjoy the way it makes you feel. It'll stop you putting the pounds back on, and they're harder to lose later.

Ditch the cult and make some new friends who are capable of thinking for themselves.

Cherish your BFF and your grandmother. They won't last forever.

Step away from the food! Don't eat that, you won't even enjoy it and it will contribute to extreme ill health in ten years time.
Spend more time with S because in 10 years he'll be gone and you won't get chance to say goodbye and will regret it bitterly.

Don't waste time with this bloke: he's not worth it.

Do something about your weight now!

Spend time with your sister - she'll be gone in a few years.

Don't buy that flat.

Whatever people may tell you 18 is not the best time of your life, things will get better and you will not be this screwed up forever.

You did the right thing about the pregnancy. one day you will be with a man who loves you to bits and get pregnant with a planned and much wanted baby and it will be perfect. I promise.

Yes, take up a musical instrument you will regret not to, and knuckle down at school, concentrate, try hard, without doing that you won't achieve your dream of being a pilot.

ditch your twat of a useless boyfriend and work harder at work and stop pissing about thinking you're too good for your job and having a bad attitude. buy a house on your own while you still can because soon house prices will be out of reach for nearly everyone.

because if you don't, in 10 years time you will be skint and living on a council estate still renting at 31.

that would have given me a kick up the arse i can tell you!

Your family isn't complete you'll have another 2 gorgeous surprises.
Don't despair about your dead end boring job - one day the guilt you have over leaving 3 DDs and worry you have about a crap female role model will spur your on to apply to an access course so you can do a degree.
You'll have to postpone that due to DD4!
Inspite off/because off 4 DDs you'll graduate with a first - the highest dissertation mark on your course and your DH and DPs pride is amazing.
