I ordered my shopping to come today between 10-12 today, the plan was to then go out for the afternoon and then to cook dinner for my sister.
I ordered it on Friday morning but having lost my purse I had cancelled my card but asked my bank to make sure the asda transaction was honoured.
At gone 12pm today there had been no delivery. So I ring, get put on hold for 10mins the lady says she is sorry and will call me back with an explanation. 20 mins later no call swo I ring again, another 10 mins on hold another lady apologises and says she will get the store to call me back.
By 1pm I go to another supermarket and get my shopping.
By 2.30pm still no calls from asda to explain although I had guessed it was because my card had been cancelled BUT my question is:
Am I being unreasonable in expecting ASDA to call me before the expected delivery time and let me know the card hasn't worked and they are not going to be delivering my shopping, as then I would have gone shopping before 12pm and then would still have been able to have the afternoon out with dc's? (had to cancel because by the time I'd been shopping it was too late)
