playmobil playground and campervan and The Field the grass roll to play on.
Books and new pjs (bought ages ago in m&s and asda sale) and a rainbow light from next for her room. I'll also get an outfit or two for her. Our grandaughter will be 3 1/2 at Christmas. Mum & Dad are buying her a micro scooter and safety equipment. A superhero cape, art stuff and most probably something frozen related as frozen 2 is due out near Christmas.

She has her own list of various playmobil type dragons and unicorns. I'm buying mid December in case she changes her mind.

Duplo
Happyland
Playmobil
Doctors set and outfit
Cute tea set, play food
Bath toys
Doll and accessories/pram
Board/lift the flap books
Jigsaw puzzles
Play doh sets
Dress up clothes

I don't actually have a 3 year old anymore Grin but I've always thought it's the best age to buy for and those are the type of gifts that always went down really well with both dc and the nieces and nephews.

A Mellissa and Doug house thing with keys she played with at a friend's and loved

Some dressing up outfits, I already bought a beautiful mermaid tail made of recycled fabric off etsy

A doctors outfit bag and kit, she has this at a relatives house and loves it so I know it will be a hit

More little people big dreams books

Hair clips and bands also from etsy

Some Disney dvds

Probably a nice new cardigan or jumper

Following along for more ideas!

Pink umbrella
Pink shoes
Pink dress
Pink wheelie suitcase
Pink water bottle

And a small toy of some description, depending on what she's into in December.

**can you tell what colour she insists on? All the above are very definitely at her request!

Very interested in people’s suggestions as this is an age group I need to buy for. Would people say that Playmobil or Happyland is best for 3 year olds? I would like to buy a camper van but not sure which brand is best. Not sure if Happyland is too babyish but then is Playmobil too small/intricate for them. Any help appreciated Smile

Pinkjam id go for the play mobile camper van. My daughter had it for her 3rd birthday and it’s still going strong ( she turned 14 today) it’s been passed down to 2 more siblings and it’s lovely

Have to really decided yet as just had a birthday 3 days ago but maybe a bike?

Just seen an Advert for scruff a luv and they look cute but get rubbish reviews on amazon. Does anyone have one? I was thinking maybe a rail for dressing up costume and some costumes to hang on it

Last year I bought my 3 year old a cash register which she still enjoys playing with. Along with Disney 'barbie' dolls.

Yes to pp the Melissa and Doug key house. I bought it for her Christmas when she was 2 and she still plays with it and all her friends/cousins make a beeline for it when they come round.

@Macmaccat Thank you, I’ll go for the playmobil then Smile wanted to be sure it wouldn’t be too old so glad you said your little one played with it fine at that age. Thanks again.

@PinkJam
We always used to buy happy land but now DC is a bit bigger and we are happier for them to have toys with smaller parts we are moving on to playmobil as much wider range to choose from and smaller to store!

I don't get the key house. What does it do?

@itwasalovelydreamwhileitlasted

My three year old got a Kindle Fire for his birthday. For me, it's about balance so as long as he's not on it all day I'm happy for him to have one. You'll get a good deal if you want until Black Friday.

I don't get the key house. What does it do?

Each door has a different doorbell sound and each door has a specific key which opens it. I appreciate it sounds a bit odd but it's one of our most played with toys.

@FantasticPhyllis

It doesn't sound very entertaining. I wonder why kids love it. It's only £21 so I'm willing to get it for him as the reviews are so good.

So far I’ve got :

2 dress up costumes
Crayola set
Vamperina doll (small tho)
Barbie doll
Some small stocking fillers - chocolates, lip balm, new princess facecloth, Disney Pen and notepad

I’ve not anything really big.
She’s mad into DreamWorks Spirit so something from that Confused. Maybe some Playmobil (I too had been looking at the camping set).
Her granny and grandpa want to get her a scooter - leaves us with very few options so hoping I’ll get some inspiration here

Oh there is so much my 3 year old would love- it’s a lovely age to buy for. I’m thinking about a Rapunzel dress but I can’t decide on her other presents yet.

When DD was 3 (she's 5 now), her main present that year was an easel. We got the one from IKEA, it's got a chalkboard side and a whiteboard side, and you can put a roll of paper on it to draw/paint on as well. She still uses it now, and DS (1) keeps eyeing it up, so it was definitely a good investment. Not too expensive, but it does take up quite a lot of space.
