What are you all buying for 2 and 3 year old girls?

My DD2 doesn't really express an interest in anything! So I'm a bit stuck, her older sister has had a wooden kitchen, dolls house, pram, dolls, playhouse.... So I'm totally lost on what to get her!

She's 2.5, what are you all getting the 2 & 3 year old girls you buy for? Smile

Mine will be 2.5 and I'm finding it tricky too as she is only really into roleplay at the minute but already has all the big stuff. I will be getting a few bits for her dolls and some books and craft things, some peppa pig toys and some baking things like an apron with her name on it and some cake glitter or something.

I have looked at megablox and duplo sets and train sets for me but not sure about those.

Mine is 19 months-old and I've bought her a age-inappropriate kitchen diner from ELC half price

My almost 3yr old is getting a doll house, sylvanian families, some playmobil, little live pets bird, my little pony figure, play doh, mini animator dolls from Disney store, dress up tiaras. Not all from me.

My DD is getting the playmobile playground, shop and swimming pool, little live pets bird, a beautiful pop-up book, a slushi cup, some Melissa and Doug sticker books, Elsa Light up shoes, a geomag kit (to stop her using her brothers). She's getting a Clangers set from my parents in law and a baby Annabel with pet sheep from my parents.

balance bike and a walking bing bunny. Stocking will have fluffy socks, hair clips, octonauts figures, some extra animals for her farm, and as much sparkly tat as needed to fill it up!

DD1 turns three just before Christmas. She's having a Lalaloopsy Color Me doll, Frozen dolls (soft ones, got them cheap in Brantano!), felt tips, and pajamas.
She's getting a scooter for her birthday.

DD2 will be just 2 at Christmas and she is getting a balance bike (only because her older sister is getting a real bike and I'm trying to prevent fighting), a Peppa pig toy that sings when you hold it's hands and a little moses basket for her doll.
She is also getting a stocking with a 123 playmobil truck along with the usual bits.

My DD has a happy land cottage that she got last Christmas and the past few weeks has started playing with that a lot, so we've bought her the happy land treehouse (reduced from £50 to £20 in mothercare atm) in the hope she enjoys that!

She has also borrowed stolen loads of my nephews cars so I think we'll return his and get her a few little cars to play with! She also loves Thomas the tank engine so maybe a Thomas train as she doesn't have one.

Other than that I'm just planning to pick her up some chocolate coins, chocolate Santa, some books and maybe some socks and pjs because they're a necessity ??

Last year DD got the ELC Pirate Ship, some Duplo, and a stocking full of hairclips, toothpaste (she gets really excited at toothpaste...), socks, crayons etc.

This year she'll be nearly 4 and we're going with Mrs PotatoHead thanks Toy Story and probably a bit more Duplo. Grandparents are getting her a new baby doll and some clothes for it.

Last year the bigger things like the pirate ship (and a garage for her birthday a month later) weren't big hits. She prefers smaller things like sticker books and the like. So quite honestly, I don't think we're going to spend much at all on her birthday and Christmas and will enjoy a year where she's not get on her eye on anything particular. I imagine she'll need a bike during the summer so we'll just save the money for that.

DD will be just turned 3.

She will be getting a train set, a keyboard with seat and microphone, talking bing, some books, a light up pillow, some cars, Melissa and Doug beads (for me to do with her) and a magic wand

She has a play kitchen and a doll etc, but isn't too interested in them. She prefers her duplo. Though right now I am being treated to a cup of tea for the first time in a few weeks. :o

Looking at paw patrol playsets and figures because she loves them. She's also got some birthday money to spend and will probably get her some switch'n'go dinos because she is always stealing her big brothers!

My DD's will be very nearly 2 and 3 come Christmas

They are getting a Disney princess little people castle and garden set bought last Christmas and didn't make it out of the boxes

A big wooden kitchen also bought last Christmas and has been in storage from may until now

Some ben and holly toys, frozen bits, books and arty bits.
Neither of my two really play with actual toys, they much prefer books and role play with dolls/teddies - I wish I had known this before buying LOADS last year, their birthday is 6 weeks after Christmas too

DD is getting a wooden train set, PIL will probably buy her a Sylvanian cottage to go with all DH's old Sylvanian toys they saved, and some kind of interactive soft toy to match the Laugh & Learn Puppy DD2 is getting.

I just bought her little friend a Hexbug Aquabot jellyfish thing for her 3rd bday, not sure if her parents will thank us for that, it's a bit bigger than I realised!

She doesn't really play with toys either, just constantly puts dolly and teddies to bed. She didn't get a 2nd bday present from us in the end because we were at a total loss as to what to buy!

Walking bing and talking sula. Leapfrog lovin oven and the vet clinic that was half price on Amazon. She will also get baby annabel bed and accessories. Lots of art stuff, frozen scooter, connect a straws and octons. Anna and elsa dresses and shoes and the sing along Elsa doll. Some orchard games and jigsaws. Toy till and shopping basket. In comparison to my other children she does actually play with her toys and I find it far too easy to buy her stuff. I don't buy for them during the year but make up for it at Xmas!

My DD2 will be 3.5 at Christmas, she is getting the Sylvanian Families cottage and the cat family as her main present (all part of a master plan to get me her the campervan for her birthday next summer and then the forest school for next Christmas!).

Stocking (sack) will have things like MLP, playmobil, sticker book, hairclips, puzzle, shopkins, beanie boo.

Last year at 2.5 she got the Playmobil takealong house, but it had too many fiddly bits for her and was ignored. Her favourite toy last year was the disney magiclip princesses and her dress-up outfits.

She has had the Happyland treehouse since 18 months and still loves it - definitely a great buy on sale.

Dd2 will be almost 3 come Christmas. Also have a dd1 so have a lot we possibly would get if we didn't have an elder dc.

Dd2 is getting extra brio for her brio set bridge tunnel and some extra track and am innotab. Her favourite things to play with are Happyland mainly the London bus but also the fairy boot and Tree House, peppa pig castle, cars, little people pirate ship, anything Thomas or My little pony. Also loves scooting around in the garden she would be getting a scooter if I hadn't got her one for £3 at a nearly new sale a few months ago.

DD will be 2 on Monday and is getting a Sofia the first doll, aquadoodle, some Melissa and Doug playfood (cutting and sandwich set) a mixer from jl and another tea set & dinner set, a walking dog from my mum and God nos what from MIL! She got a kitchen for Xmas (IKEA dukgit) last year but need a bit of refreshing.

I'm trying to decide between a dolls house (asda wooden one) or more Happyland for Christmas. What would you all suggest?

It will be her main/only present, shes also getting a crazy coupe from the new baby due over Xmas and will have a stocking full of lots of bits to unwrap.

Thanks!

Duplo! My two, 18mo and 4yo, love playing with it. The bulk of ours is a John Lewis copy which is compatible, and a couple of other duplo sets. Also I'm thinking of playmobil 123 farm as she loves animals and small world play.
