The website lists the experiences of women in Academia who are not captured by gender ideology. It very clearly demonstrates the oppressive culture in UK Universities at the moment. Makes for pretty sobering reading.

Such sad reading... intelligent hard working women who have invested so much time, energy and emotion in their chosen careers... now being pushed out and branded GC transphobes.

It's incredibly disturbing to read all those testimonies.

I can think of three older GC female professors I know who are in absolute despair and living very stressful lives knowing they are under constant surveillance and one slip could lead to a complaint. They are all in a position to retire if they have to but they are holding on in the knowledge that if they do go, their entire department will be woke.

One of them is Jewish and a lesbian and experiences sly, insinuating anti-semitism and thinly-veiled homophobia on top of it all. I don't know how she does it. It's like a police state. The Stasi are watching all the time. And we wonder why there's a mental health crisis?

I don't think the website is Kathleen Stock's. It's been set up by some other GC academics.

I just don't understand how this has been allowed to happen. Is it down to Momentum and have they captured universities, students union, and grass roots labour and no one ever said 'no'

Oh it's interesting that it came out of that thread.
Some of the testimonies are terrifying and depressing. What a stifling environment. Some of them sound like hostile work environments. And shedbuilder's friend's workplace sounds like it too.

I hope a network of contacts somehow comes out of it somehow.

It's not Prof Stock's website! Kathleen's Medium site has a whole lot of academics' stories, but this new website is set up by other (less well-known) feminist activist academics. At least one of whom is a MNer!

I'm not even through it all yet (the academic one) and fuck me it's depressing reading. A modern day witch hunt, it's bloody Stonewall with their huge amounts of cash and influence, capturing places of free thinking, ideas and debate and controlling them through fear.

They are a menace, and no longer fit for purpose
