I assume she is playing happy families as she knows that the tabloids will either present her as woman scorned ot a dutiful wife, so tis the lesser of evils as it keeps the muckrakers at bay and means the father of her kids doesn't have his career ruined.

Wouldn’t it be lovely if she gets to enjoy her wonderful house with her kids and perhaps a new love in the future. Everything always seems to be about the person who has come out living this new exciting life whilst the sad, withered former partner sits at home staring at a wall. To fuck with that. I hope she enjoys a fabulous new life spending his money.

He was presenting so clearly is not self isolating. I didn't see it, just read it in the Metro.

It's just more nonsense really but it did make me wonder if he might self-isolate away from the family in some unknown location to create...some distance?

I do worry about Steph.

Personally I think he's lost it. There are no cases in Paris. If he was worried, why travel?

As someone wrote elsewhere, these celeb presenters are often married to people in the business, including high-ups like producers, their children often work in the business in various roles including working for the talent agencies that have the celeb presenters on their books, and many of the celeb presenters have the same very powerful talent agency. The vested interests to keep Schofield in place are considerable.

There are several people other than PS who have a vested interest in keeping these stories under wraps.

I'm sure his income and celebrity status allows them to enjoy a lifestyle beyond the dreams of most of us.

It feels very stage managed - all PR and orchestrated. A bit American-style reality show really.

I thought it revealing that Perez Hilton, a US celebrity blogger, knew about the allegations surrounding Schofield and it was actually him who was cut off, not Joan Collins, when it looked like he might start revealing what everyone is now saying.

The truth will eventually come out. There are so many images being uploaded to social media from the last few years of things like people in restaurants with Schofield in the background - and who he happens to be dining with each time.

Joan is a legend. I was puzzled why Piers shut her down, when he’s usually so fearless. Has the PS PR machine been threatening to sue? And why the silence from the UK press? Huge handouts and gagging clauses all round, I’ll wager.
