Can anyone recommend a series or trilogy that is hard to put down?

I've read a few like the Ken Follett trilogies, Harry Potter, twilight, LOTR and Outlander but I really want an amazing series to get stuck into. The kind where you can't wait to pick up the next book. I'm not really into detective/thrillers but other than that I'm easy!

(I started the Demon cycle series but my interest is waning on the 2nd book.....)

A Horseman Riding By by RF Delderfield. Trilogy starting at 1902 and tells the story of a large estate in... Somerset? Lots of social and political history through the lives of interesting characters...

I love a trilogy by Maisie Moscoe, the first one is called Almond and Raisins. It’s about a Russian Jewish family who came to live in Manchester at the beginning of the twentieth century.

Definitely agree with the C J sansom, Robin Hobb and goT suggestions. And Bernard Cornwall.

Historical novels? Phillipa Gregory is excellent.

Red Rising it's a sci-fi series but it had me sobbing in places it's well written and very well loved and you will be reaching for the next book as soon as you finish one - 3 books out already in a trilogy and the new trilogies first book is out in 3 days.

the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. it's brilliant in parts, a bit rubbish sometimes and gets a bit out of hand around book 5 but overall I loved it. contemplating a third read...

If you like crime books, give the L.J Ross series a try. There's 7 books in the series, I've enjoyed every one.
