I don't know if this has been done before but with all the free content on kindle and some
Of it being dire I thought a thread could help find great books at great prices.

I also thought that people could say 'this book is only 20p - has anyone read it is it good?

I started it because

James Herbert - Ash
Is only 20p and I have bought it today
Please post your bargains!

I shall be reading through this thread with interest as I am currently awaiting delivery of my Kindle! They are, however, FOUR WHOLE MINUTES LATE over the hour estimated delivery time I was given.

I second the Hundred Year old Man...I thought I would find the style annoying but I am 80% through it and I have to say it is a delightful read.

The Hundred Year Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared is only 20p - and whilst it is an odd title, I am really enjoying it!

Rosy George's Convention Conundrum is one of the best 'chicklits' I've read in ages ... it's 77p on Amazon at the moment. www.amazon.co.uk/Rosy-Georges-Convention-Conundrum-ebook/dp/B008OZENS8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1358526881&sr=8-1&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21 - really summery and escapist!

Duchess, you got there before me - I borrowed it from the library last year but had it on my books I wouldn't mind having my own copy of wishlist, but I hadn't hoped for 20p.

This book by Amanda Grange is free today. The blurb says it would appeal to anyone who likes Georgette Heyer. I've read one other book by her and liked it, so worth a go I think :)

Just thought I would let anyone know who is interested that "the lost daughter" by Diane Chamberlain is 99p today... I'm not sure how long for!

I read this a while back and it was fab, a real gripping read! Smile

I'm reading this at the moment:

www.amazon.co.uk/The-Partridge-Pelican-ebook/dp/B0078XG7LS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1353758075&sr=8-1&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21

99p for kindle. I'm halfway through and I'm really enjoying it. It is very well written - a bit like a grown up woman's chick lit.

Winter in Madrid is now 20p - if you haven't already bought it (I got it a few months ago for the quite reasonable price of 89p) do, it's excellent, I'm just reading the last couple of chapters now.
