Hi, following on from the lose a stone and half thread those of us with more weight to shift (me!) would like to carry on

Is there anyone out there to join?

I will go first

I have reached my Easter target and I would like to lose between 7 and 12 pounds ready for the summer (I may lose more in the autumn but I don't see the point if I can't maintain it)

I have let things sill a bit so my intention is to calorie count as I did before with no chocolate or alcohol from Tuesday for a few weeks. Then I will relax the choc and booze rule Grin

I like the heat, not keen on having to get in the car and by the end of the day I'm a sweaty smelly mess but I love the heat

There is an egg fast thread in here somewhere, it's eating loads of eggs with a bit of cheese and loads of fat (butter, mayo etc), I love eggs so I could probably do it for a few days and it's supposed to be quite filling

If I don't do it before August I'm deffo going to give it a go in September

Cloths are a pain aren't they, I have bought loads of clothes for the summer but there is a real heat wave here and I'm running out of high summer clothes. I've hot 3 pairs of shorts to take on hols, one is a 10, one a 12 and one 14. All bought in the last 2 months and I haven't list any weight in that time. Bloody ridiculous

haven't done it yet ended up being stupid busy and despite it being a million degrees I've got a cold! food wise okay as not got much in haha. I've got plantar fasciitis and the only time my foot isn't hurting is when I'm moving! so lots of walking going on not seen about the egg fast what's that about? glad you are doing good my combats just fell down whilst I was putting washing in haha but my nice jeans don't fit. Still seem to be stuck on the same old weight though! how are you finding the heat

Hi super

Hope you are doing ok Grin

I go between feeling slim (in my too big for me shorts) and too fat (in my next size down haven't stretched yet shorts)

Not doing too badly food wise, off to the pub for lunch and tea tomorrow Blush may just have dinner at one meal and desert as the other???try and spread it out Grin

Been reading about the egg fast on here, very tempted to try it on Thursday, I do love eggs!!

How about you? How did the clothes moving go?

not doing much tomorrow but need to move all my clothes into wardrobe I've moved so that might keep me busy enough!

RufusTheReindeer · 19/07/2014 22:54

Should be Grin

Have a good day tomorrow, I'm going to eat less during the day and tea is 2 pitta breads stuffed with feta and roast peppers

Just need to stay away from the chocolate ( and the pub if it's a nice day)

I like fruit but find it's going off so quick im throwing loads away. visiting sounds nice and you have got it all planned out so stress free and just a chance to catch up that sounds ideal

We get our uniform from Skoolkit in the nearest town, the problem is the longer you leave it the more packed and horrendous the store gets! I've got most of it but I ordered a medium fleece for ds2 and it's huge so I may have to brave it on Monday morning

I don't really like fruit or fizzy drinks Grin

I had a huge and I'm not exaggerating, bowl of guacamole and Doritos for tea, quite ashamed of myself but I try and have a treaty day and then behave for the rest of the week. My week starts on Sunday Grin

My dad tries to see us once every 4/6 weeks but it's been ages...I think they had a holiday, then a wedding then a funeral...they've been too busy even though they are retired.

They are coming on Friday so it's the pub for tea that day, nice salad for tea on Saturday and they will probably go home on Sunday morning. They stay in a hotel so they leave about 10 in the evening and come round at about 10 in the morning

not really having a break but haven't been shopping so there's a distinct lack of fruit being eaten haha. it's been so hot I agree, evening sounds nice if packed, only ds here as sc gone home we were all out late last night so I'm dropping asleep! need to stop drinking fizzy stuff it's my weakness, had egg sandwiches for tea was too warm to consider otherwise. nice that family coming to visit you hope it all goes well. I am looking at uniform this week the kids are moaning they only break up Tuesday and I'm already planning to send them back Grin it's not that but we live in a small town if I leave it there will be none left

Goodness you've been busy!

Not been up to too much, end of term stuff really so (as I am mainly at home) trying to catch up with friends before I don't see them for 6 weeks

Planning our holiday, getting school stuff ready for September! We have our god children (2 girls) here for a sleep over so four children in the living room watching titanic and one in the other room with DH and I watching Madagascar 2.

Very hot day here so we popped out to get some chocolate bits and stuff for tea and then we have been very lazy. My dad's visiting next week with his wife so that will be a bit busier

How about you, are you trying to have a bit of a break during all this work? How is the DIY going?

Hey super

How's it going

Pound off this week so now have 5 pounds left til next target!!! And three weeks away from a three week holiday...if I don't lose it now I will have to start again in September

Will try and lose a pound a week before I go on holiday...at least that will be close and I will be at a decent weight for my holidays

Have you still got a target in mind or are you taking it a day at a time?

least dh had more of the tea, so don't feel too bad, everyone has those days. I have never tried tuna ever! maybe I should

I know what you mean about the bread. I have to keep throwing ours out because it's gone mouldy noone seems to want it until we don't have any! I like the sound of the dining/playroom colours I like things to be bright. kitchen was yellow but was looking a bit grubby so is half red. the waiting around is frustrating though isn't it like you say abojt the tradesman I just want to get everything done but I cant! haha the house is chaos because things are being moved/swapped/chucked out. I've been raiding the wardrobe again and have literally nothing to wear that doesnt make me look a fat mess! that could be a problem. I think having a plan certainly helps doesn't it like having your fast days or planning out meals. I am terrible at meal planning though I find it so boring!

I know! I don't know what we've done Sad

I was having a good day til I are two pieces of bead and butter (so much for low carbing) then finished off dd's tuna pasta and then ate my tea FFS. I did give DH the lions share of tea...go me!!!

We have nearly finished our downstairs loo, been waiting for tradesmen so it's taken months...we do a room over a weekend, this delay has been killing me Grin

Red and yellow Smile so was it red and now you are painting yellow or the other way round?

Our kitchen has an archway into the playroom (dining room) so the kitchen is teal with lime green accessories and the playroom is lime green with teal wardrobes!!

I am not sticking to my food plans and I know they work, try for a better day tomorrow...may try a fast day.

Hope the next few days go well for you and well done on that pound loss!

haha not the whole house but there is bits that need doing in every room, the kitchen is half red half yellow! haha. the boys need the new furniture as they are now too big for the bunkbeds. stepdaughter needs all new paint as it was done when she was seven she's now nearly twelve haha. lost a pound this week must of been all the furniture hauling but not had a good food day cause nothing in! how about you? I like the sound of teal I like a kitchen to be bright and really wake you in the morningGrin just tried on every dress I own and they all don't fit or look awful going to a party friday night and at this rate it'll be jeans and a hoody! are you still sticking to your food plans or just trying to be more cautious ? everyone seems to have disappeared but us!

Well done on all the changes

Sometimes you do need that push don't you. What colour are you going to finish painting the kitchen in? Mines teal...it's a bit in your face but I like it!

Are you going to gradually do the whole house? Just think if all the DIY excercise you are going to get

Not a bad day today...but not a good day either. How about you?

least you maintained Rufus! im still here been big changes in the house this week I gave myself a much needed boot up the arse and have started things . having to buy bit by bit so everything will be a bit upside down for now but finances won't let us buy everything in one go so one of two new beds comes this week then the other in a couple of weeks when saved up again. it's getting done slowly, after mum died I painted half the kitchen then lost the effort and never painted the other, given myself a much needed shake. weight wise still the same think my bloody scales are teasing me no gain or loss in weeks! how's you

super

Weird about the peas Hmm

I don't really do breakfast, but I do like to eat at about 12ish which is quite early (and impossible when I am on dinner lady duty, don't finish til 1.15!)

Once again I start the week with good intentions and then it all goes pear shaped!!!! My period is on as well so that will be my excuse on weigh day

I'm out at the pub tonight but as I had chips with ds2 (strike day) I might try and just have a burger or a starter or something

I hope you have recovered from your busy Monday!
