Juice plus shakes?

I've completely out of character just signed up and paid for this without doing any research and now I'm starting to re-think wether this was a good idea! Have any of you used this to lose weight and if so did it work?

@Rosieistaken steer clear of this business. It's an mlm pyramid scheme. Your body does not need any bullshit capsules to detox, it does it automatically.

Anyone claiming to have lost so much will either be combining their snake oil capsules with a healthy diet and/or exercise or they will be a rep and invested in hooking new victims in. Sorry.

Hi I am new here but was wondering if anyone can help. I started juice plus 3 weeks ago and have only lost 4lb. I have my 2 shakes a day wit dinners being, omelette with tuna, veg stir fry, am I doing something wrong? All I see on Facebook is girls who have lost 8-9 lbs in their first week. X

Please don't buy into this scheme!!!! It's a complete rip off, I've used it myself & even had friends who worked for JP. Don't buy into this stuff you see people selling on social media. Really.

My girlfriend is interested in starting juice plus again after failing the first time, I am going to try steering her away. I am sceptical at the best of times about most sales pitches and so looked into what it is all about.

It very quickly became apparent that juice plus is a simple meal replacement regime, wrapped up in a lot of pseudo science terms (as soon as I hear the word "toxins" in any nutritional context alarm bells start ringing) designed to make you think there is some actual solid science and research behind it, coupled with a "business opportunity" of becoming a juice plus agent yourself and making money off of your friends by selling them the same massively overpriced product that doesn't work.

Whenever you fail to lose weight there will be a seemingly valid reason, e.g. you need to drink more water to flush away "toxins" or maybe you didn't do the detox phase for long enough. Always pointing to you need to spend more money and never the "product doesn't work".

It's a pyramid scheme preying on the insecurities and hopes of people not educated or confident enough to do it the right way (proper diet and exercise), a way incidentally, that works 100% of the time every time with not too much effort required if done right, and for far less money!

And finally, any post you see anywhere giving a glowing review then an email address for "more info" is a rep touting for more business, don't get sucked in...

You'll get the same results with any shake though. Seriously- don't join the cult please!

I do juice plus.

Start with 2 shakes per day. Have 1 healthy meal and 2 healthy snacks. You drop down to 1 shake per day after 8 weeks. Hope that helps x

Hi. Im just writing as im new to this! Ive recently bought a 4 month supply of shakes! Since having my baby a year ago ive only managed to loose 2 stone. I was a size 8 before birth and am now a size 14. Ive tryed so much but cant seem to shift the weight! Received no info with my shakes to decided to buy a juice p lus plan on ebay for £1! I see it says you need to clean eat detox for 14days....i dont eat chocolate or sweets or fizzy drinks and i have gaul bladder problems which means i cant eat bread and pasta or anything starch based. So i clean eat pretty much always. Im just wondering for the people who have been on juice plus....did you lose most of the weight during the detox at the beginning, Or during taking the shakes. As ive stuck to the detox for 10days now and have only lost 3bl. Im 12stone 5bl so i assumed id lose abit more. I also exercise 3times a week for atleast an hour and every day i walk? Maybe im expecting too much but does it get better once you start the shakes?? ....sorry for the essay! Its just my rep never resp onds so thought its best to ask people who are genuinly on the plan themselfes.... thankyou

My DIL signed up as a rep( you need to hand over £50 ) . While waiting for customers she started on it herself . Two weeks in she just felt drained. Awful.

She got her £ 50 rep money back thank goodness.

She started SW and lost 2 lbs this week and it's teaching her how to eat sensibly which I'm all in favour of.

All these miracle diets can never ever take the place of real, good quality food.

Why would you want to feed your body anything less.

And if you do lose a lot of weight surely you're set up to fail as soon as eat normally again.

Please, people! Do your research before handing over your hard earned money. There is no quick fix to lose weight. It may seem great that people are losin weight quickly, but this will happen if you drastically reduce your calorie intake, whether you're taking capsules and shakes or not!
