Today is a big day for me, a turning point! I've always been 'big' however have just been getting bigger and bigger. I want to lose 6 stone- starting from today.

Anyone else in the same boat who would like to swap inspiration and tips? Today I've planned to eat healthily and go for a nice long walk Grin

Hi Everyone! I am in the market to donate some serious kilo's! I was thinking about getting one of those exercise dvd's but i don't know which one is the best? Anyone have any suggestions?

Stayed the same this week. It is so hard. I am dropping to 1200 cals to see if that will get things moving. Has any one tried the zero cals rice and pasta from holland and Barrett?

Hello all! Sorry been out enjoying the bank holiday all day- literally just sat my bum in a seat from 9 o clock this morning!! Loads of walking and running around chasing DC at the park (and a few sneaky chips pinched from DS!!)

Good to hear everyone is doing well, and welcome to the newbies- great to have you with us! Yes I will start a new thread tonight- will link it here as soon as I get it done Smile

Welcome to the newbies.

I have noticed the weight loss is slower, but at the same time my shape is changing more which I am happy with. Still need to lose at least another 2 stone though probably closer to 3 but I am happy with how I am heading. I am going off clothes not scales now!

Hello all newbies!
We have had 2 dinner parties, a big buffet party and 2 bbqs over the past week and I've managed to stay on target throughout, such a nice feeling now as I feel good about saying no to all the treats and don't feel I missed out.

Finding the weight seems to be going slower now though. I've heard a lot of people say the last bit is the hardest and I'm 1st5 off target so maybe that bit is kicking in? I pretty much stick to calorie targets and run 3 x per week but finding I have to be above and beyond foot perfect to shift 2lbs per week, whereas before this could have a slip up and still shift 3lb in a week. One way its good, on the other hand very demotivating when the scales won't shift!

Is anyone going to start a new thread, this one nearly full!

Safyre I had the camera out the other day and there's some photos of me in Tenerife, I can't believe how big I looked, I guess I was in denial. Needless to say I lost 4 lb last week

I've tried ww a few times and lost the weight but always put it back on again! I'm finding sw much better, the baby has started weaning over the last few weeks though so its trying to find a new balance of a &b choices now I've had to cut them down a little.

Hi to all the new people!

At my weight-in this morning, I have lost 1st 1.8lb since I went on holiday in April - which also means I'm back to the weight I was after DS was born. I did fall off the wagon spectacularly for a few weeks in the middle, as well as wasting a while low-carbing when it was obvious that it wasn't going to work again. 2st 1lb to go until I am back to the weight I was when I got pregnant (my first benchmark, because if I got pregnant at that weight before, I can do it again, no?).

DS's 1st birthday party is in 3 weeks time. I would love to be back in my favourite pair of size 18 jeans for it... I wonder what my chances are?

I really agree with what people have said about photos though. I hate photos, but have been making an effort to get some taken with DS. I've noticed that I'm in more over tha last few weeks though!
