DD nearly 10 months refusing to eat..

..anything. About a month ago we moved to finger foods as she wouldn't eat off a spoon.

She has a sicky bug but stopped being sick on Tues and is back to her usual self since Thurs. She STILL won't eat. The only thing I can get her to eat are cheerios, and even then she'll only have about a dozen.

What do I do? Should I worry? She has 3 BF a day, and still has these happily.

DD is 3.5 and is still like this after she has been ill and will often only eat Weetabix for days afterwards. I'd use your judgement. Maybe put a favourite (Cheerios ) on the plate with her normal food. That way she can eat what she fancies at the time. As she starts eating other stuff more gradually reduce the amount of Cheerios. HTH

Thanks, fluid intake not wonderful, but enough.

Lunch took a hour, while she flung her food and cup on the floor. I mainly ignored (and browsed MN!), occassionally offering a spoonful of petit filou, fruit etc.

I guess I just have to put up with this til she starts to eat OR becomes so lethargic / lacking in energy that I have to take her to GP. Here's hoping it's the former!

PS - do you think I should offer favourite / sweet foods to encourage eating, or just stick with healthy options I know / think she likes.

As long as she is taking lots of fluids I wouldn't worry greatly. Just keep offering the food and try not to let her see that you are stressed that she is not eating.
