Hello I'm new here!
Has anyone experienced a regression with weaning? If so have you tried anything successfully to get back to normal?
My son is nearly 7 months old, we started weaning about a week before he turned 6 months and initally it's all gone really well with him accepting most tastes and loving porridge for breakfast.
for the past week however he seems to have decided that he now hates breakfast, at best he will grumble a bit and turn away between mouthfuls and at worst he will scream and bat his hands at the bowl.
He's become a lot more cautious of new tastes and although we have taken a step back giving him mainly tastes he already knows with smother consistencies lunch time can also sometimes be a bit testing.
He has been on two meals a day plus his bottles but for the past two days he's had a bottle for breakfast instead of porridge because he's got upset with the meal.
