Baby won't eat from hands

DS will polish off his meals feeding himself with a loaded spoon - won't let me feed at all!
However, when I offer finger foods he looks at them with disgust and just drops them to the floor, yet the remote or my phone for example goes straight from his hand to his mouth!
Anyone else had this problem with BLW? He won't even entertain a sandwich or toast etc.

Well, 3 weeks is really not that long a time frame. It could take a while for him to get the idea of picking up and eating food. I would just keep putting food down in front of him and let him do what he wants with it. He'll work it out eventually!

It would probably help if you also ate the same food at the same time to model this for him.

How old is he? How long have you been weaning/offering finger foods?

Has he never eaten finger foods or is this a new thing?
