Sims 3 or Sims 4?

I’ve just bought a laptop, it isn’t a gaming one, it’s a normal Dell one, was £450 and has a SSD and 8GB RAM (I don’t know much about computers). I used to play the Sims 2 and loved it and want to buy either sims 3 or sims 4 but I don’t know which. I’ve read that Sims 3 is better but can really lag so I’m not sure if my new laptop will be able to handle it. But then I’ve heard that Sims 4 is a bit babyish so not sure which to get? If I loved Sims 2 then will I love Sims 4?

Mine isn't laggy on Sims 3. Haven't tried 4 but I love 3. There are loads of things you can download for free to speed up and clean your game. If you type your question into google, it will bring up responses from the sims forums where you will get more help.

There's also facebook groups for the game that are very active. Happy Simming
