South Lakeland Leisure Village- anyone been?

Looks lovely but maybe not particularly geared towards children.

Glad of any thoughts/opinions/suggestions about the park or for things to do near the park. I have some ideas from a thread about Haven Lakeland but I really like the look of this place and would prefer something a little quieter.
