Help with York

about 5-6 years ago I went to York and stayed at a premier inn. It wasn’t the one in the city centre it was on the outskirts of the city and had a lost Chinese restaurant by it, within walking distance. M
we’d love to go back again but I’ve tried to search for it and can’t find out where we stayed or the Chinese restaurant has closed as I can’t see it in Google maps.

We stayed at the Premier Inn North recently and it had a pub next door but no other pubs or restaurants nearby that I noticed, just houses and open spaces. Maybe the pub used to be a Chinese.

I bet it was the premier inn at Clifton band the Chinese was Maxis. Did it look like a pagoda?

This one is next to Maxis Chinese.

Maxis is in Nether Poppleton and there’s a Premier Inn there. @Sybila has cracked it!
