Has anyone ever stayed on a working farm for a break? About 10 people in total 8 adults, 1 child and 1 baby.
Family getaway preferably around an hour or two outside of London.
Sounds a fun and different weekend away.
Any help or advice welcome. Thanks.

Check out The Olde House. It’s in Cornwall, so a lot further than an hour or two outside of London but it’s a working farm as well as holiday cottages. Thoroughly recommend it if you are happy to travel to Cornwall for a farm holiday.

Welcome to The Olde House | Farm holidays in Cornwall

We offer family self-catering farmstay holidays here in North Cornwall whilst being just a short drive from the Cornish beaches of Rock, Polzeath and Padstow.

We’ve stayed at Bucks Farm in Suffolk. The dc could help feed some of the animals.

We've now booked this. Any tips you may have from your stay greatly appreciated. Tia.

@Grrrpredictivetex
If you’re coming from London and need a good family-friendly place to stop en route for a bite to eat or leg stretch, then Jimmy’s Farm and the Suffolk Food Hall are both good options and aren’t much of a detour. The Food Hall has a great selection of frozen locally-produced ready meals so take a cool box if you want to stock up for your holiday.
There are loads of good days out in the area. Obviously Southwold is a MUST if the weather is good and depending on the time of year, Southwold Maize Maze. The dc like Africa Alive.
Have a great time!

We've just returned from Bucks Farm and it was amazing. The owners are delightful and nothing is too much trouble. The children had a wonderful time feeding the animals.
Would highly recommend this to people, I truly hope we can return again some day. Thanks @Forgottenmyphone for the recommendation.
