Northumberland Seahouses August

We are looking to book a week self catering in August. Extended family ranging from 91 to 12, struggling to find a suitable property.

Have found one in Seahouse but a friend thinks the area is a bit arcadey ( not even a word).

The alternative properties are in Beadnell.

Anyone know the area and have any thoughts?

Thanks in advance

I'm not sure if I've stayed there but definitely somewhere similar. A collection of various rooms and cottages. It was fabulous. We had booked B&B but had a self contained annex with breakfast delivered on a trolley. There was horseriding for DD and they even looked after her for the day whilst we attended a funeral in Newcastle.

Thanks Ursula - the only thing stopping us is that it's not walking distance to anything.

Finding it so hard to make a decision.

Going to do another search for Bamburgh as if we could get one there it may be a nice comprise?

Bamburgh is definitely a good compromise. Love it. Want to go back now!

We managed to get a house in Bamburgh so it's all booked. Thanks for all your help
