Spending most of May half-term in Edinburgh and Perthshire with friends and family. But we would like a few days away exploring by ourselves, preferably on the West coast, the Trossachs or somewhere similar. Struggling to find a nice B&B with a family room (for 2 adults, a 5 year old and a 2 year old). Have trawled the Alisdair Sawday site (our usual go-to place for holiday accommodation) but it hasn't come up with anything this time. Don't really want to stay in a big hotel, and whilst we would usually consider self-catering, it doesn't really work for only 2 or 3 days. All ideas gratefully received
