I've got an interview for a sixth form college lecturer post. Instead of teaching a lesson I have to give a 10 minute presentation (to staff not students) on a given topic. I've never had to do this before and I as I have been working as supply I have no colleagues I can ask for advice.
So, what are they expecting? I was going to pitch it at A level standard, briefly outline the topic and then give more detail on some aspects, finally sum up briefly. No handouts, use power point slides with bullet points, diagrams and maybe an animation clip if I can find a suitable one.
Any advice please?
