'Her' sofa gone. Cat plotting murder!

Had my sofa collected this morning to make room for the new one that is arriving Friday. I'm sure I'm going to be murdered in my bed. Hmm

This thread has made me laugh so much! My DD and I have often said it's good thing that cats are so small,as our little madam tries to 'kill' us on a regular basis.

Yes. Just hoping she doesn't wee on it overnight as she would do with the old one. Confused hopefully I nipped it in the bud a couple of months ago. She was obviously puzzled by the different feel of it under her paws. It was very cute.

New sofa has arrived and madam has walked up and down it several times, discovers it's much easier to get onto the windowsill, and has sat next to me purring. I think I might be forgiven. Her sister has totally ignored it!

The bread oven works but I really need a door made for it ( not something you can just buy at B and Q) as it doesn't hold the heat long enough without one. The photo was not long after my cat arrived and he was still in hiding mode. It wasn't until he opened his eyes that he was discovered, cloak of invisibility up until then!

I am still alive but have almost died of jealousy at the bread oven! Feline mollified by sitting on the foot bit of my recliner therefore making me have to curl up. And also by a delivery of 12kg of food. Which will get eaten.

I am so jealous of the bread oven. Does it work?.

It's the perfect cat hiding place either way.

I lost ours once, searched everywhere & was just about to ring Dh in tears to say the cat was lost presumed dead when I found him asleep in a rolled up duvet.

GrinGrinGrinnot been since July. Oops. Didn't know that St Gertrude is the patron of cats. As I got them from St Francis Persian rescue, I might try him!!

Another practicing RC here - have you been to confession? You could also ask St Gertrude to put in a good word for you (patron saint of cats). OTOH maybe a fish supper would be in order, it is Friday tomorrow. Smile

Am seeing my Parish Priest tomorrow. Will get him to give me them just incase. ( that's if I survive the night) or I could get my archbishop friend to give me them over FaceTime! Managed to turn him into a fully fledged cat daddy. My work on earth is done!!

All she has to do is close her eyes, you have been warned! This is mine appearing magically in the old bread oven after I'd spent half the morning looking for him!

She's a black cat, she's just waiting on the stairs until darkness falls and renders her invisible. It'll look like an accident when they find your broken necked remains...

She's currently curled up at my feet on the recliner. Purring loudly. She's always ignored anyone who's sat in it before so hopefully she'll be ok with the new sofa.
