My little black cat has the pinkest tongue - love watching him wash himself. It's like a lovely, tiny slice of vair naice ham.
My big bruiser is a polydactyl and I love his massive bear paws and their delicious stripes.
Only one thing per cat is permitted Wink.

The way tigger jerks awake from a dream then looks at me, I say 'not to worry sweet pea, you had a nasty dream but I'm watching out for you'

To that he always chirrups and goes back to sleep.

The way smudge is so flexible and does her 'Jane Fonda' act with such ease (leg up straight right by the side of her head) all she needs is a little pink leg warmer and the look would be complete :)

Row row girl always says hello when she comes in, row row boy for being handsome, but such a softie

Taffcat likes it in the potting shed when I am sowing seeds or potting on. He sits on the workbench and observes proceedings. Occasionally he'll swish his massive fluffy tail and knock over a few pots, but that's OK.

I love being woken by Mr Cory - at dawn, yowling, ripping up the newspaper, then trampolining on my face with pneumatic-drill-purring and the finale, dragging my feet out of bed, big toe wedged in his teeth.

Take that, Eva Longoria and yer kitty alarm clock.

Cat 1 has black whiskers on side and white the other (thanks to her tortie colouring)
Cat 2 is a big ginger sweetheart - his constant upbeat attitude and love of attention
Cat 3 has the shiniest fur
Cat 4 and her foibles - she won't eat if her dish is on the floor and insists on having her dinner on my desk (which is an improvement from on the TV unit!)
Cat 5 has classic ginger tabby swirls that say LOL down one side of him :D
Cat 6 and her big owl-like eyes - she's incredibly timid but very loving when she trusts you.
Cat 7 - our maine coon cross has the floofiest tail

I love that when I get in from work my little boy climbs on the back of the couch and stretches his face up to mine so I have to bend down and give him Eskimo kisses for about ten minutes before he begs for food. =]

The way black cat sleeps - always looks so comfy.
The way my very large Maine Coon folds himself up to sleep in a paper carrier bag (we've got loads of other places he could sleep - but know, that's where he goes)

Alfie the rag doll cat. The way he runs down the rather steep stairs in the morning and from behind with all his fur and knickerbocker legs he can hardly get there without just rolling head over heels.

Lulu rag doll cat sister. Regularly 'collapses' in front of me so that I have to stop what I'm doing to rub her tummy and chin while she purrs and smiles.

I love my cats, I do.

My lovely late ginge had a hind leg amputated due to cancer. He used to lie down pull himself sideways along the fence for fun.

Oscar (19) is the boss of our street. He has a hideous yowl that he uses to suppress dissent among other cats, and was shouting at a fox a few weeks ago.

Lost my boy on Good Friday so this is making me smile and cry at the same time. So many things He did made me smile. The best was the way he'd fall asleep with his tongue poking out and not realise when he woke up. It would take ages for him to realise......

Myone jumps up on a spare chair at the dining table and pop her head up like she's sitting at the table. Soooooo cute - never tries to steal food, just likes to join us for dinnerGrin

My boy cat fetches sticks, he doesn't drop them at my feet though, you have to wrestle him for it!

The 'whuffles' Seniorboy makes when he's dreaming in bed with me. A cat actually dreaming is such a signal of trust that it tickles me every time.

We have a routine when I get in from workwhen I can be bothered whereby he lies down on his rum wagging his tail and turning this way and that to see where I am. I meanwhile hide really obviously and stalk him knowing full well he can see me. I tip toe around the corners and so on and then I pounce on him and he runs about waiting for me to catch him and give him a massive cuddle which he pretends he doesn't like but secretly does.

I have a boy and girl, litter mates, never been separated.

I love the way they both roll over and have to be tickled when they come in from their adventures.

I love the way my girl grooms her brother.

I don't love the way he beats her up!

I don't love the presents they bring (rabbit's eyeball on the doorstep, anyone).

They are totally adorable though.

I love the way that Big Pussy Boy sleeps near my feet at night, with one giant paw on my leg or foot. If I roll over, there is frantic patting until he finds me again, then a contented sigh as he goes back to sleep with his paw on me.

Tiny Kitten's permanent expression of outrage. (Big Pussy is none too bright and looks permanently bewildered.)

My big fat ginger and white cat stands up on the bench outside the living room window when he wants to come indoors. Then when I open the door, he refuses to come in and I have to go to the bench and carry him in,

Sad and lazy, but very sweet.

Walk, not walls.

Report
LagomOchLyckaSwede · 12/04/2013 17:19

I have four kittens aged two weeks (Ragdoll crosses) who I got after a friend's cat was stolen six months ago, and was dumped whilst in labour in a bin bag. It was found dead with one other dead kitten, they got taken to the vet, vet recognised the cat and contacted my friend but my friend couldn't care for the kittens and I volunteered.

Tiffin- the way she kind of flop crawls. She tries to push herself up but doesn't quite manage to do it fully and 'walls' even though her stomach is still on the ground. And then she kind of stretches out her front to walk but her back paws make tiny steps so it doesn't work very well. She'll. probably get there in a week and a bit.

Gracie- she has the pinkest little nose ever. It's very noticeable, even comparing her with the others. An adorable, pale pink. She kind of looks at you pathetically, with a slightly twitchy little pink nose which I kind of have my eyes drawn too all the time.

Jessie- her purr. She is the first one! And it's so adorable. I lift her up and put her in my lap and stroke her and she kind of makes a weird purring noise (almost a hiss but it's a purr) and she does it when I rub her stomach too.

Samba- he 'cries' for food. It's adorable (and he's not upset, just...demanding). He makes a cute kitten version of a cawing bird! It's lovely. It sounds a bit like this but he only does it when we stop the feed of formula.
