So Dougal (the dog) really goes crazy when he sees cats, we did have a cat (died at christmas) but he ended up living upstairs and dog downstairs as dougal use to bark like mad at him. However i think that the cat, tigger (who was here first) just didnt want to know so dougal never got the chance to really meet him.

So next door has 3 kittens and we really want 1... we bought the kitten round yesterday just to see how things would go and dougal went crazy,we were holding the kitten and dougal was loose on the floor, the kitten isnt bothered about the dog barking or jumping she just looks at him... but the kitten is use to a lab!

Any advise on the right way to indroduce them?

I have a Cavachon - which is a Cavelier King Charles Spaniel crossed with a Bichon Frise. I also have a cat. I had the cat first - Todd. He is 3 now I think. Oscar is now 2. I had hoped that they would get along and perhaps snuggle up together, but sadly that has not been the case. Oscar, the dog, mithers Todd to death. If Todd is around then Oscar just will not leave him alone. Todd has become very good at manouvering around a room surreptitiously. I think I should have got them both at the same time. I don't know.
