Well, today I am watching- for the millionth time- 'Deck the Halls' with Danny DeVito and Matthew Broderick. I should be doing something useful and can't be bothered.

Thanks Raahh - sounds like one to add to the festive viewing list! I've not been doing very well on the Christmas films so far.
But yes that's the basic gist of most of them isn't it - or something along those lines... Got to love it

Private I think it was called the Christmas Claus. The usual plot- woman makes wish on Christmas eve because her life is crap and wakes up the next day to find she never got married/had kids/ has amazing job, but it's not all it's cracked up to be and she then wants to 'go back'.
I have seen many, many variations on this theme, with lots of different people. .

Yes Lea Thompson was Marty's mum in Back to the Future. It wasn't Stealing Christmas you were watching was it Raahh?! That's one of my favourites!
The weather's awful here as well - windy and with sleet/rain coming down.
We've got our Christmas tree but it's just shoved in the garden at the mo - we're one of the last without one on our road as well Fizzy! I'd better get on with it.

We’ve had snow but it’s raining now so it’s been washed away
I need to get into Christmas mode - it’s 3 weeks today 
We’re getting our tree tomorrow so that might help - I think we’re the only people on our road who’ve not got their tree up (bah humbug!)
Watching the Repair Shop reminds me of lockdown part 1 - Grayson Perry is on later that also reminds me of lockdown - I’m sure there’ll be some Chris Whitty portraits in his exhibition

She used to be in a lot of teen type films when I was younger -and the Back to the Future ones ? (I think).
Clearly as time went on, hallmark tv movieville beckoned. .

There's snow on the mountains here and I hope it stays up there!
Poor DH Raahh I'm plagued football on the telly this week. Sick of it. I'm sure they're making up fixtures as they go along.
I'm watching a man on The Repair Shop glueing an ostrich egg back together from smithereens. He has the patience of a saint. I'd have thrown it in the bin.

The weather here is dreadful. We have been on snow watch- of course I ive under the Manchester weather sheild, so we just have rain an sleet- 3 miles up the road, my mother go proper snow . (The weather really does seem to know where the boundaries are ).
Dh is getting grumpy- football has been cancelled for weeks due to lockdown, he spent all of Sunday re-arranging fixtures for the resumption of the leagues tomorrow- and it might get thwarted by the weather !

There's a stupid one with Julia Roberts as well but I can't stand the woman anyway.
It's so windy here I nearly got blown over earlier and even DS1 who is a big strong man could hardly walk in it which was funny to watch. I'm easily entertained

Christmas perfume ads are weird. I think that every year. The one I hate with a passion is the Marc Jacobs 'Daisy' one- where they just go - Daisy Daisy Daisy .
