I caught an episode called Cold Comfort last night. It's billed a black humour but it I just found it very disturbing (though brilliant).
Should I watch the rest of them? I hadn't heard of this series before.

We are watching the one with the tramp. Not sure what it's called or which series it's from. It's making me excruciatingly uncomfortable, I'm cringing as I watch. Oh God, what's going to happen?

I watched The 12 Days of Christine and the Art Exhibition one. I found both to be really good like works of art, as you can interpret them in so many ways.

Like The 12 Days of Christine didn't make that much sense during, especially the Christmas Scene where Dad seemed completely fine. Also the Birthday Blind Mans Bluff scene. But at the end it all made sense.

Those that saw the Art Exhibition one, how did you interpret it. I thought it was pretty multifaceted. The 'Mum' you'd assume was Catholic so there's the idea of second chances and redemption, but it was like she was acting as God, judging them and killing them off. The Peter Kay scene was grim, wasn't that sure what organ he'd had. There's also the irony of her using (don't shoot me) strict Irish Catholic Morals to judge the others, which in fact didn't make her by any means a Christian at all. So when she got killed and it was her heart in the jar, tongue in cheek she had become the victim of her own judgement.

I was left wondering what happened to the bodies and how Sheersmith was allowed to continue with the Exhibition. Oh and there was the irony of there being a killer, just because she was an unassuming elderly Irish woman, people put their trust in her to their demise. Was really good, the more you think about it, the more examples of interpretation you come up with.

HalfShell no that's not it. I don't know the name of it. Technically it's the first episode of the 3rd series I think but they showed it at Christmas.

Oh yes, Sardines was great!

Brillant series. So glad it's now on netflix as I'd missed the first series. I really enjoyed sardines and the episode about the witch finder general.

I loved Sardines and Twelve Days of Christine was brilliant. I don't know if i can bring myself to watch it again though. It's a bit scary/harrowing. Brilliant though.

Yes Ivanka, the Xmas special one had a horrible reveal at the end. Took me ages to get to sleep after watching it

I rewatched Cold Comfort last night. They're definitely something you can rewatch to get all the bits you missed the first time.

Did you see the xmas special one? I was very at the end of that. They're all dark but that one in particular.

I also liked the birthday party one? From the 1st/2nd series? What was the name of that?

Cold Comfort is my favourite episode. It's very disturbing and gets under your skin. Theres a real sense of dread all the way through it despite some very funny dialogue. The final twist is only revealed in the last few seconds and i think i actually screamed out loud when i watched it for the first time. Truly brilliant stuff

The silent episode from series 1 is brilliant too

I would imagine that Inside No 9 is something you either absolutely love or absolutely hate

I absolutely love this, so clever and I always look forward to the twist at the end.

12 Days of Christine is very good, I welled up a little at the end of that one.

I watched the shoe one for a second time as DH hadn't seen it, and it is so very cleverly put together on a second watch. The house is full of pairs of things, and the shots were really carefully composed to make the pairs frame the characters.

The shoe one is wierd , how I did laugh hard at the questions he asked the 'shoe owner' can you identify the tread! A b and c ...very dark good ending though. The karaoke was a bit meh, ...
