I was very intrigued when Judith said she would move to New Zealand if Margot took 'the girls' there (I wonder which others were hers). I think Judith loves the kids more than the Rabbi when it comes down to it. I also think she's done a great job with those kids, clearly loves them as her own. In some ways the many mothers thing works, just like a community brings up children, they seem so well rounded.
Who knows what will happen to them in Crete
. Ellie is a survivor though, and a leader. And has some great women around her. I wouldn't be surprised if the 'witchcraft' of man-hating is passed on to her though, and nothing to do with any of her mothers, but the man she adores who is living is his dream through them. She'll realise that one day, she's a sharp girl.
