I'm surprised no-one has mentioned the dad from the Newbury family. Is it just me or was he a really really nice guy who would make a great hubbie and not bad on the eye either!

I actually felt sorry for the Bristol woman - she seemed scared and was lashing out I felt. Maybe counselling would help her leave her childhood issues behind

OMG-Those poor girls!! The way Lorraine spoke they didn't have any friends either and why would you live in a caravan to let your children have the house? My dh is quiet and not the most sociable of people but Jeff made him look like a female Cod.

bristol mum flet marginalised and that ehr kids wer ebeing overtaken by the toher parents. Her dh overcame his vertigo to ride an elephant, all except him went rafting (fear of water), they visited a Thai school where kids danced for present of a box of biscuits which Bristol mum had moral qualms about (and I'd agree with her tbh), she felt the time spent travelling was a waste of holiday time. Her girls loved it and plan to go abroad again but she'll stick to home ! Surprisingly no huge blow up at the end for once !

I thought this was strangelyn one of the more productive programmes (I also did a sort of really at the bruise on chest)

I would have been shell shocked at staying in someones own house

insecure woman but it did have a positive outcome despite the editorial slant. Felt for her being taken so far out of her comfort zone and she did cope pretty well considering.

shame that the poor mum seems to be incapable of enjoying herself
