I love her, and found this to be another interesting family! ...I do think they could have popped Laurence on though

my mum and dad have done loads on my dad's side - they could only go back to the 1740s (i think?) because we were in Scotland then, and they have quite a lot of missing records.
Thankfully, the last person who was researched was in the Scots Dagoons Guards, so plenty of records about that!
Mum and dad used to go away overnight to various parts of the country to look throuhg records etc.

I also loved this programme apart from one thing... She went all over the country in taxis and cars with no seatbelt on at 36 weeks +. Grrrr.

This particular episode, whilst interesting, has spoilt the whole series for me. When The Royal Hall was being renovated in Harrogate a few years ago, Edward Fox was very involved. The family knew all about this and their connection to it. It makes me wonder if any of the people featured are surprised by what they discover!
