TUESDAY 22 NOVEMBER

Entertainment

Dragons' Den

8:00pm - 9:00pm

BBC2 London & South East

VIDEO Plus+: 4071
Subtitled, Widescreen

2/6

Dragons' Den is such reliably great viewing. The surprising thing is how funny it is. You don't expect that in a business show, but the prickly encounters between go-ahead-impress-me investors and rabbit-in-headlights entrepreneurs can be richly comic. Tonight starts badly with a woman whose website idea is so half-baked she makes all the dragons quite cross: Doug Richard spends the rest of the programme in a bit of a huff, railing that "She is a lamb. To. Slaughter." But the real fun is in the hopeless cases: tonight there's a spout device called the She-Wee aimed at women who want to wee standing up (big market, that) and a kitchen smoothie maker with - wait for it - an internet connection!
