did anyone watch this?

I got really annoyed with the husband, thought he was pathetic- leaving his wife and kids after 2months.

gutted as I had started to fall in love with him I think but after watching the programme, I realise that it was the best thing to happen. I do love my dh but every time I see this man (and I still see him every day) my heart just jumps. Not sure if he fell in love with me - guess I will never know.

I am actually having an affair and since the programme, the affair has finished - it seemed to effect him more than it did me!

Having contemplated one (in my head, never acted out), this drama really did hammer home how awful it was, particularly on the children. My DH sat watching the 2nd part with me and kept asking me if I was alright. Actually although I thought the ending was totally unrealistic fiction which let the drama down. It was brilliantly acted and written. It left me thinking, 'don't even go there'. Throwing all those years away for what? I don't think even if she had no died, it would have lasted. Very thought provoking for those occasionally looking for more excitement in their marriage.

Im wondering how many people, currently in the throes of an affair, were sat squirming in their sits next to their DP's/DW/DH?

Am I the only one who found that Kate Bush song depressing as all hell? Is all her music like that? Is she like the female version of Coldplay?

Not as good as the first episode but it was still ok. Could have been sadder at the end tho'!!!

Thought that song was amazing am going out to buy it for DP as he loved it too!! I think its called This Woman's Work by Kate Bush.

PLease please can somebody update me? I set the video for it last night after enjoying the first episode and dh in his fire awareness obsession turned the power off before going to bed. (Yes I know - very sad in that we went upstairs just after 9.15 last night!)

I don't think many people could care for the mistress like that but I think it showed that sometimes life is about the bigger picture and not just your own little world

DP and I watched this together, the bit that really got to him was when the daughter did her concert and he was "at it" with his bit on the side. He just couldn't believe he could do that, not just to his partner but also to his little girl!!! He was shouting at the telly more than I was. I was a bit surprised how rational she ws though, DP said to me "you would have been straight in the knife drawer wouldn't you?". He knows not to mess with me though, have made it clear from the very start

Like everyone says, its not just the wife he is letting down but his poor innocent children, they were such a close loving family too. I always thought that men who had affairs were unhappy or missing something but they seemed so happy.

Just brings it home how important families are, will watch it tonight though definitely!!!!

That's it, GDG! It looks more like sun damage than smoking.
