18th birthday gift for girl

I want to get a present for an 18 year old. She is my children's cousin and we have only ever met a few times. She lives in Canada and my children are very fond of her, from the brief time they've spent with her.
What would be a good idea. I want to get something not too extravagant and English. She is quite posh (private school, fairly wealthy parents) so originality more important I think than financial worth (she can buy herself stuff).
Any ideas appreciated.

A little joma bracelet? Lots to choose from.

When we had a US exchange student here on her 16th birthday, I bought her a Links of London charm bracelet with three London inspired charms. We do live in London though, so it was sort of relevant. You could do a bracelet with charm(s) relevant to the cousin.

A paperweight with a union jack inside. DD got one of these for her recent 18th and loved it, although she is obsessed with union jacks!
