So, what do we all think?

Yay or nay? Bling or ming?

I am NOT a charm braclet fan at all but for some reason i am quite tempted by pandora...

There is a solution, where you face your cravings and give in ; spend a lot less than you think and get a genuine sterling silver bead bracelet ; that is compatible with Pandora / Troll / Biagi etc ; and thats at www.uberbeads.com

Well, i've given myself a 24 hour cooling off period from all things pandora and i still want a braclet and a necklace!

I wore black harem shorts today with a black and cream daisy crochet top. I couldn't help thinking that the look would have been complimented by a pandora bracet and necklace featuring a few black/white beads.....

Kickass, where can you get them in the US?

I have Lovelinks, similar idea - wider choice of Murano glass beads than Pandora but the same idea. I am totally addicted!

There is also Troll (someone mentioned this), Biagi and Truth. All the same kind of idea, all slightly different.

Tnog, they're lovely with only 3 or 4 charms imo. My hairdresser had about a million on hers and I thought it looked stupid. I have one with just 4 charms and less is definitely more. I have no urge to fill up the chain. It's nice to see the chain itself I think.

Some of those are lovely, aren't they?

Gorgeous coloured beads.

You should look at Troll Beads too, a little more quirky and unusual than Pandora. Just a thought.

...true

ok

Yes, you're right, Fluffy.

Individual or unique is important for me with jewellery hmmmmmmmmmmmm

I want to like this bracelet

FluffyBunnyGoneBad · 13/06/2009 21:42

But no one will ever have the same one as you Tn0g. The choice of charms and spacers is all yours, no one will have the same, it's individual.

Nooo

Don't say that, I was just beginning to think good things about my bracelet.

Now I'm all hmmmm again.

I'm with Mutt on this one. Everyone seems to have them. So I wouldn't. Ming. Sorry!

there are other makes which are slightly cheaper, but not such nice barcelets. some of them fit on the pandora bracelet. so you can get the chain, then some cheaper beads to go on. you can slo get ear-rings & necklaces for them.

they're cheaper in the US too, so worth thinking about if you're going there any time.

Oh I have just spent so much on these blimmin beads in the last few weeks. They look lovely though! I have a silver with touch of gold bead fetish.

Yeah, he may well start to regret being so thoughtful, I'm really getting into this Pandora malarkey.

I'm quite anal about jewellery and I'm also a control freak so him buying me the bracelet kind of hit on these two foibles.

Tinsel, have you namechanged recently?

I lost at least an hour to that website this morning tnog!! Your dh sounds very thoughtful, hopefully he will be supportive of you amassing a collection of beads......!

The website is very good isn't it?

I feel quite bad that I was disappointed with my bracelet and like you say, Tinsel it'll be fun adding to it and personalising it over time.

tnog - i reckon you can personalise your braclet beautifully. Get to the website and try out some combinations. The glass ones can be swapped easily to match your outfit.

They are fab, get lots of the £12 spacers, some pretty dangly gem ones and some glass ones. Orange and red go together, so do brown and red, blue and green. Then you are sorted, you don't need many glass ones, nor do you need a whole braclet full. They will naturally hang down to the bottom when they are on your wrist anyway so you don't need the clips that hold them in the centre to be honest.
I have to curb my spending now so I'm going to have to think creatively

Ok, I'm starting to see the possibilities and looking at my bracelet with renewed eyes now.
