Thanks Furball
That one is very similar to a style i had years ago and i wasnt keen on it then.It is probably a little too short for me.

My hair sounds just like yours, I had my layers re-done and a fringe cut in,I LOVE IT, pontificated about a fringe for ages then just decided to go for it, everyone has said they prefer it and I can tie it up and it still looks good as it frames my face

I had my shoulder length hair all cut off into a very short pixie style during the summer. I loved it for the first month, but now I hate, hate, hate it

I reckon it will take another 6-9 months to grow it into a chin length bob, which is what I should have done in the first place.

So whatever you do, don't go too short.

Whatever you do you MUST go with a STYLE planned... do not just let hairdresser wing it, or Very Bad Things can happen

thats nice PFNM - you ould just have a half fringe tappering into one side if you didn't fancy the whole thing

Can't wait slouchy!

this is nice - gives a nice shape

Furball · 31/10/2008 21:26

this sort of thing? it's kept quite long at the front

Report
Furball · 31/10/2008 21:24

tis tricky as a) you probably want to keep your length as not to shock yourself and b) I also feel you want something abit different and not like the girl next door?

Hi Furball
Thanks for the link although sadly my haircut is going to deplete funds this month.

I have got in the habit of tying my hair back in a ponytail in the house since having the dd's as they used to grab my hair.I dont tye it up when im out as my ears stick out a bit.

It'll grow back quickly enough if you don't like it.

Do you wear your hair up at the moment?

Why do you need to put it up? You can always clip it to the side or tuck it behind your ears?

hmm still not 100% sure though ?
What if i hate it and regret having the length cut?
I like the look of a bob longer at the front bit i still want it long enough to scrape back.

You know when you are waiting to find a style that you just have to have, its kinda like that.

Go for a bob - I had long dark hair with layers for years and got it cut about a year ago into a graduated bob (I'd thought about it for atleast a year) - tis dead easy to maintain (rough dry, then a few mins drying with a brush, smooth on some serum and off you go) super easy to dye and looks a bit funky too!

Go on - do it
