Decent slippers!

Can anyone recommend a good pair of slippers that won't break the bank? I'm a SAHM so wear them a lot. We have hard floors in the living area as well, so really want a proper sole that will take a dash to put the bins out etc.
Every pair I have only lasts a few months before splitting or wearing out. I've looked at mahabis but am loathe to spend so much on a pair of slippers! Are they really worth it? Do they last that much longer to warrant the price?
I'm not that bothered on style but really prefer a back on my slippers, I tend to fall out of backless ones and they keep my feet warmer!

I like my Totes isotoners. They don’t last forever but they’re pretty good.

I also have a pair of Clark’s trigenic slip-ons which I find very handy to wear around the house.

Thanks everyone. I really prefer a back so the Skechers are a no go I'm afraid, but the Moshulu range looks very promising!
I've tried crocs, but are too clog-like - which also rules out the Haflinger - I had seen these before.
Ugg type boots are too warm and I find a faff. They're slippers that don't slip on!
Why is it you can never find exactly what you want?! I will look at Moshulus in more detail and let you know!

I have Gumbies and they are wonderfully comfy and hard wearing. I've had them three years and live in them, they don't smell and still look as good as the day i bought them. They replaced North face tent mules which were comfy but not as hard wearing.

I have some off amazon called gumbies. £35, hard sole and supportive. Only had them two weeks, was a splash out but better than any I’ve had before!

I use Primark Ugg-look-alikes. They are meant for outdoors but I keep the soles clean for indoors (combination of tiled and wood floors). I've had mine 3 years now and they are barely worn looking. I go out in them just to nip to the car, over gravel, or hang the washing out when its dry. I think they cost £8.

Maybe a bit pricey but these Uggs are so comfortable, brilliant for hours standing on tiled floors! I’ve had mine 10 years and only now are they needing replaced.

Moshulu here too. They last ages.
Or the Kirkland ones in Costco if you want something very warm

I wear Celtic sheepskin slippers. The cost is eye watering (!) though I can say that they are the best ones I’ve ever found and last me years at a time, and I wear them every day.

They fluff back up in the washing machine and I think I replace them once every 3 or so years, so all in all, they work out at an ok cost.

I got MIL a pair of Moshulu slippers at Christmas. Solid sole, she really likes them. We’re roughly £30

Lands End- I too was fed up with cheapy foamy ones lasting a couple of months and at Christmas treated me and DD to a pair of these each. £25 iirc. Fantastic, warm, comfy, solid soles. Literally cannot wait to put them on every day.

I’ve got a pair similar to these. I’ve had mine about fours years and they’re still great. The soles are thick enough that you can go outside in them.

I have a pair of fleecy boots from Next that I wear as slippers. They look like Uggs but much cheaper! Very cosy and fine for going out to do the bins etc.
