Having read this I dragged DD to TK Maxx after school - no Marc Jacobs but there was....a miu miu top, prada skirts, miu miu trousers, billy bag bags, seven mens jeans, ted baker shirts and some Dorma Bedding ... so I thought it was a trip worth while and as DD let me (through some kind of miracle she played with a doll the enitre time) actually rummage!!! I left with....a lovely diesel dress, some egyptian cotton bed sheets and as a peace offering to DH for spending money....2 lovely Calvin Klein shirts for him - I think I might be a TK convert!

Good luck Bundle. Don't say I didn't warn you And maybe best to wait until you've got a child free day before you attempt Wood Green TK Maxx. It is truly quite hellish. It's above Boots in the shopping city BTW.

It says on the website that they open at 9.30am during the week and 9am on Saturdays. I reckon it would be bearable (ish) if you went on a weekday morning. If you've got a car and you live in north London (or if you're near the 210 bus route) I'd go to the Brent X one. It looks much bigger and less stressful. Wood Green is a hell hole (apologies to anyone who lives in Wood Green and loves it... I mis-spent my youth hanging around Wood Green shopping city so I know what I'm talking about!).

It's the final week of the TK Maxx sale this week. I got Ben Sherman and some Australian surfy label shorts for ds for £1 each. Craghopper shorts for dh for £2 and Nicole Farhi white linen trousers for myself £119 reduced to £4.

Had to search through a load of tatt to find it all though.

Bundle, the Wood Green one is pretty hideous. There's quite a lot of stuff but it's crammed in really tight and it's always really busy so it makes for a pretty stressful experience. Having said that, DP got a lovely winter coat there at the weekend.
