Ideally fairly short so I can keep it in my make up bag.

I use cream or liquid foundation.

Have never got on with blenders

Zoeva and MAC do great foundation brushes

nothingwittyhere · 01/02/2020 16:00

Yep, fingers last wash after wash.

@QuantumEntanglement: over defensive, much?

ViserionTheDragon · 01/02/2020 23:38

I don't think Quantum was being over defensive, just calling pp out on their own hypocrisy.

Anyway, another vote for the Real Techniques sponge. If you buy one, let us know how you get on, OP

Love sponges, but they don't work with very fluid foundations.

Bobbi Brown full coverage face brush is brilliant but ££ at £34 compared to other brushes. There's a kabuki brush from Amazon for £7 that does a great job too.

TurduckenFucken · 02/02/2020 13:21

Right, I’m going with Zoeva as they do some with a bamboo handle rather than plastic, which is an added bonus.

Thanks for your pearls of wisdom!

Real techniques expert face brush. Actually all of their brushes are great. A brush gives more coverage than a sponge but depends on the look you want. I love a brush.

LightOfAThousandStars · 09/02/2020 12:35

Another recommendation for the Bobbi Brown one, it's so good and gives a lovely finish.

TurduckenFucken · 12/02/2020 07:38

Just popping back in to say that the Zoeva Buffer Brush is really good, I’m glad I went for it. Thanks!

I use a brush and a sponge. Apparently, you can put your sponges in an old sock, tie it with a hair-band and stick them in a 30 degree wash so says Mrs Hinch.

Bobbi Brown Face Blending Brush. Good for everything!

Tomatogravy · 12/02/2020 22:06

Another vote for beauty blender, if you prefer a brush real techniques complexion brush set is so easy to use
