I had my hair cut very short once (have always had long hair). Someone told me I looked like on of the prisoners out of cell block H . Have shoulder length hair now.

I am always growing my hair long and then having it cut short again then last year it was about shoulder length an dthen had it cut into a shorter bob and now on friday I ahve had it cut shorter again like Sarah Hardings and I hate it the hairdresser has cut it shorted than I wanted it , it has really depressed me , I am just hoping it will grow back quick . this time I am growing it long and keeping it that way

Went to short from long. Came home and my little boy burst into tears. My little girl said shakily it looks "very modern mummy".

I like it because it is lovely and short and liberating. I have curly hair too with a long face. Trouble is, I am the ONLY person who likes it. Growing it back long now.

I think you should do it because you will wonder what if. You can always grow it back if you don't like it.

I have a long face and have my hair cut sim to Posh - I had mine done first BTW!!
I think it is more flatterieng than olong hair as makes long face look longer.
I love it like this so easy. Only wash it every other day and straightne in beteween

I went from middle of my back length into a short spiky crop that I love!!!

Very easily maintained, a short blast of the hairdryer, rub wak in my finger tips & seperate my spikes

Sometimes I straighten it to make it spike more & other times I soften it with just my fingers & gel.

Look at some styles between now & then & ask the hairdresser if they think you will suit it

As soon as I walked into my hairdresser she immediately said "We need to get rid of this weight & length, you're too small for long hair!" So I felt confident that she knew what she was doing

I went from long hair with fringe to short about 10 years ago. I was so fed up with it I just went to a new hairdresser and said 'do what you want' he lopped it all off and I loved it and I still go to the same salon now even though that chap has retired. I'd say go for it, if you don't like it it will alwaysgrow back

Just before Christmas 2005 I went from having hair down below my waist to a sort of bob with a big fringe; I've put a pic in my profile. Since then, I've had variations on that theme. I love it, it's so liberating being able to wash and go without having long hair dripping all over the place for hours!

i used to have it short and now have it long

which isn't what you asked at all, i know

but i know it suited me loads better when short (i too have long face btw)

am wearing it long atm out of sheer laziness (2yo and baby on the way) so i can tie it back most days

go fo it

go for it, girl. I've done long-to-short a few times and it's very liberating. be prepared to then want to change your clothes/makeup etc

Very hard to advise others on hair.

We have a brilliant hairdresser in this family who is great about assessing hair type, implantation etc and cutting to suit the person. We all have very different haircuts and we all think we look great

9 years ago I went from very long hair to very short hair, like 1 cm. Best decision I've ever made. so cool. Have been trying to let them grow a bit now, but honestly I hate my hair. I think I'm going to have it cut extremely short again soon.

I've got long thick wavy/curly hair. Decided I was fed up with tying it up to look after DS. Got it cut fairly shorter last Friday because I thought I had more time now that DS is older. WRONG!!! Took me an hour, and I still look like Justin Lee Collins.

NBuGgeration - 10 minutes to straighten? What's the secret or tne product???
