The best shampoo and conditioner money can buy

I was buying ojon but it seems discontinued.

What can I use on my frizzy, heat styled bob to tame it?

Kerastase Resistance (pale green bottles) products are the best thing to salvage my hair when it's super frizzy and dry. But I know some people really don't like it.

Is your hair bleached? Porous? I'd speak to a hairdresser you trust and go on their advice as they'll know more from actually looking at your hair than we can on here (I don't mean that rudely, just that opinions on hair can be so contradictory on here because there are just so many types and it's a shame to waste money on expensive stuff and then realise it's not the right product).

Get a sulfate free shampoo or else you're just paying top dollar for bubbles. Davines has a big range

Thanks for the advice. Problem is hairdressers don't seem to understand my hair. It looks ok when styled, if I go in unstyled they gasp in shock at the frizz. They also think I get highlights elsewhere, but I've never had it coloured. It's half straight and half curly and bloody annoying!

I use Matrix color obsessed shampoo and conditioner which always makes my fine short hair shiny and full of volume
I buy from Look Fantastic available for around ÂŁ5 when on offer
My hair has never looked better

Maui shampoo, conditioner and styling cream :)
The curl quench products are great imo. I also like the hydrate shampoo :)

Bumble and bumble - expensive but works

CottonSock

Mine is also half straight/half curly (strong waves / loose curls on a good dayGrin) and very voluminous (=gets frizzy quickly).

There's also a lot of it and it's pretty stubborn...

Maui is really great imo :)

Aveda isn't that good. It's all marketing. Alberto balsam is honestly better.

Is it dry or greasy?

I've also tried herbal essences (pretty good, but my hair was weird this summer and it usually wouldn't be rich enough).

My sister uses matrix shampoo and conditioner (mega sleek).

Her hair is beautiful. (But she has "real curls", unlike me...)

It’s expensive and may seem like a gimmick but I’m absolutely loving Function of Beaty - heard about it through Sali Hughes guardian column.
You put in your hair qualities and what you want from your products (eg frizz control, strengthen) and you get a tailor made blend. Ships from the states so it takes a while but it’s really game changing for me. I have thick hair which is normally a nightmare to control after washing but it’s now frizz free, dries smoothly and my scalp is much calmer

delph it's mostly dry. Are you from guelph? I've been there many years ago.

l238 that sounds interesting..will take a look.

I think it transpires that the tigi shampoo is either fake or gone off. It stinks and no wonder my hair feels shit. They are going to let me know but looks like it needs binning.

Label M anti frizz range - has changed my frizzy hair. I'm seriously impressed with it.

Have you ever tried the curly girl method? I see ppl recommend this all the time and some pics of them with gorgeous curls after a few months. There are Fb groups which can give you all the info.

As per PP, I really like Matrix too. Have been using their shampoo along with their creator 20 spray and it makes my hair the soft and shiny I only used to get when leaving the salon.

Maui Moisture!
I don't have curly hair but they have a curl quinch range.
I normally use the heal and hydrate shampoo and thicken and restore condition. And the nourish and moisture leave in spray. All of their ranges I've tried are amazing so I would say it's worth you giving the curl quinch range a go. They are on 3 for 2 in boots at the moment

Curly girl and the no-poo regimes just made me feel drab and disordered. I have looked and felt completely different since I returned to hardcore anti-frizz products and heat styling!

Don’t waste your money on shampoo; it’s all just detergent. I’ve seen no difference between Kerastase and Davines and my daughter’s Johnson’s Top to Toe. If anything the latter is better as it contains far fewer ingredients and no SLS.

Conditioner is worth every penny and for me, it’s Kerastase Fondant Magistral as a rinse out, and its Nectar Thermique as a leave in product.

Lanza Keratin Healing oil shampoo and conditioner is amazing...it’s pricey but I always get compliments about my hair when I’ve used it.

I find aussie to be the best for my hair. I've tried tigi kerastase Moroccon oil shampoo.. And none of them gave me any good results. I think its about trial and error
