Coated Skinnies or just black skinnies?!

Do coated skinnies look ok on a over 40 year old?
Quite fancy a pair for going out around xmas time with a nice sparkly top.
What are your opinions on them?

Bought a pair of the ‘leather’ skinny leggings from Next last year.

I think they look great as long as they’re black and not cheap. Topshop coated ‘Joni’ jeans are really good. Very flattering, comfortable and they wash well.

I'm 41 and I wear the Boden coated ones - just bought a second pair. I like them because they're not too shiny, they hold their colour better than normal denim and you can wear them with jumpers without fluff going everywhere.

I have tescos pair and wear them with jumpers and trainers. I think they look great. I’m 40.
