Spring and autumn clothes are the best.

No need to choosing between melting or exposing bits of yourself you'd rather not; or freezing or shrouding yourself in heavy layers. No need to shave things or check for ladders in things. No need to equip yourself with hats and gloves or sunscreen and shades before leaving the house.

No, it's just cute jackets (I LOVE jacket weather!), jeans turned up to show a bit of ankle, pick your favourite trainers and GO. Simple, stylish, easy.

Also I don't own a vehicle, so the elements are a PITA to me, especially when they can't make up their mind! Oh for many spring days of calm breezes and nice walks and the ease of wearing what I like without the wind coming at me so hard it could almost give me a facelift.

I agree! But it never lasts long enough!
Spring and autumn are the time for trench coats, nice shoes with jeans unhindered by socks. Light jackets and less bulk. Being able to finally go about without my woolly hat!

But there's often a down side, to me.
Whenever the temps warm up a bit, I feel like the damn wind comes out to play. Every crisp sunny day I get blown to smithereens by the time I'm half way up the street, my bag flailing around on my shoulder, hair in my eyes, nice silk scarf trying to get into my mouth;)

When it's colder I'm sure the wind buggers off. It waits for the sun! We can never have a still day, where the elements are NOT conspiring to shove you around or surprise you in some way. If I see the sun and a blue sky I can trot out with joy wearing trainers or sandals, only to get drenched the next minute and spend a few days trying to dry off my trainers without them wrinkling.

But yes, spring is lovely, but sadly short. We seem to go from winter to summer here (up north!) and often I never get to wear those lovely inbetween things like jackets and light jumpers. It's like eskimo coat straight to tshirts. Aaargh.

(the wind is my personal bugbear, sorry for the rant)
