What shall I do with my hair?

I have an appointment tomorrow and really clueless on what I want. My hair is about 6 inches past shoulders, there's about maybe 3 inches of roots coming through which is like a mid brown/dark blonde, and the length has highlights in a mix of blondes and browns - grown out now though so I just looks brassy - the length is dragging it down so it's looking flat and lifeless on top. It's centre parted with a grown out layered fringe.

I hate my forehead so need the fringe or some fringey bits back. I like the length but hate the lanky lifeless look. I want to be able to tie it back and get it off my face if it irritates me. I've also found a load of greys in the last few days and the more I look the more I find.

I need inspiration! Would a longish inverse bob work? Could that go with a fringe? I'm sick of the yellowy tone and was thinking of going warmer but now with the grey im not sure. Would ash blonde work better to mask it? I'm not opposed to the colour by the way but they are thick and grim looking.
Help!!

Thank you so mch I'm just sat in hairdresser and didn't realise anyone had replied. I'm 35 and that first one is lovely as are some of the Pinterest ones. The blunt fringes look really good but I know I would get annoyed not being able to pull t back for stuff sometimes

I'm having my hair cut tomorrow too and am thinking of having a fringe and shoulder length. You could look on pintrest for inspiration. I like this:

The ridiculously lovely Glynis Barber always has lovely haircuts & colour. Not sure of your age, so sorry if you're much younger.
