Ok so on Sunday I'm going out for a birthday meal with a group of OHs friends, I've met them a few times before and they're all very well groomed and really fashionable.... And I haven't bought a new item of clothing since Christmas Blush
I can't afford to buy anything ATM anyway.
I own literally 2 skirts the rest are jeans and leggings and no worthy tops really but I'm trying to make do.
My initial thought is a white 3/4 sleeve off shoulder top with a polka dot navy skirt and some black shoes and I was thinking of black tights as I hate getting my legs out especially in this weather.
But does that colour combo work at all?!??!? Confused

Any ideas?

It sounds lovely...i love polka dots.

It all sounds a bit fussy tbh. The top and skirt sound fine but not sure about the black shoes and tights. I always struggle with navy and tights and footwear. Could you post a picture without showing your face? Its hard to tell the shape of things.

Could you wear the jeans with your white top, your best boots and some nice jewellery or a scarf?

WipsGlitter · 14/10/2016 18:24

It sounds a bit frumpy. But it's hard to tell. Could you post a picture if the clothes?

WipsGlitter · 14/10/2016 18:25

Is it a lunch or dinner?

twocultures · 16/10/2016 15:45

Sorry for not replying the dinner was yesterday not today!
I ended up wearing it and apparently I looked really nice .
I originally wanted to wear the top with jeans but the fabric is a bit thin and shows off all the lumps and bumps Confused that's why u went for the skirt as I had it above the waist so the main area was covered if you know what I mean.
